And now, an ode to my friend Megasoul.

I’ve known Megasoul,
Since 1993,
When she lived in a dorm,
Across the hall from me.

And ever since that semester
Of Emerson College back in the day,
Megasoul has shaped my musical tastes,
From Phish, to funk, to Latin sway.

She’s a musical conisseur my friends,
Always looking for new tracks,
She finds them, she tapes them, she sends them,
All I do is listen and relax!
