Last night I went to Mr. Spot’s Chai House (still a favorite place to sit and have a cuppa while collecting myself, despite my flaming passion for the Kuan Yin Teahouse), and wrote in my journal. My real journal, the one with a hard cover and pages instead of a server and html tags. I hadn’t written in it since January 7th, which is quite a long time, until you remember that I blog multiples times daily and then print out this blog and paste it into my journal. Still, I’m having trouble reconciling the two halves of my compulsive pack rattery. Ironically, when I was walking to Mr. Spot’s last night, I passed a paper store that had a journaling display in the window, with a quote that read “I keep a journal in hopes that some day my life will seem much more interesting.” …or something like that. It amused me to no end.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
