On this blog, I don’t talk much about spirituality (much to my mother’s irritation). But she would be exceptionally happy about my results of the Belief System Selector:
#1: Neo-Pagan (100)
#2: New Age (96)
#3: Unitarian Universalist (82)
#4: Liberal Quaker (73)
#5: Scientology (68)
#6: New Thought (66)
#7: Mahayana Buddhist (63)
#8: Mainline to Liberal Protestant (62)
#9: Christian Science (59)
#10: Taoism (58)
#11: Theravada Buddhist (57)
#12: Humanist (50)
#13: Reform Judaism (50)
Groan. So, despite all my rebelliousness, I’m a NEO-PAGAN, just what my mother raised me to be. Closely followed by New Age (well, I did grow up listening to Andreas Vollenweider, and Travis’ theory is that “new age” just means “hippy for sale.”), and Uniterian Universalist, which is how I’d describe myself if backed into a corner with a godstick. Shockers on the list: Scientology, Christian Science, and Liberal Prodestant. (thanks for the link, Judy!)
Now, tell me YOUR results.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
