Ever had a colposcopy? I have. And have you ever had a biopsy? I have. It’s the only time I’ve ever laid in a doctor’s table and just sobbed and sobbed. Menstrual cramps ain’t nothin’ when compared to someone cutting off a piece of your cervix.
I have a colposcopy tomorrow, and I will decline the biopsy. The doctor will try to convince me otherwise, I’m sure, that pain is not ok with me. I’m serious. I’m a very big girl when it comes to exams, but biopsies hurt too badly.

It sounds rotten, but I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels that way about biopsies!
I had 4 yesterday with a colposcopy. It hurt like hell and made me cry. I still hurt… can’t sleep… up wondering what the hell is wrong with me.
All the information I find on it says it will be a “painless, wuick pinch.” ? I think they need to re-write a lot of the info and quit BS-ing those of us who aren’t that lucky.
