2:00pm Get lunch: Subway “Veggie Delight” sandwich on parmesan oregano bread
4:00pm Chat online with buddies while trying to avoid writing the last review of the day
6:00pm Finish reviewing, get in car, make calls to figure out where to go next
6:30pm Meet Scott in Lower Queen Anne for dinner. Enjoy Eggs Florentine at Mecca while listening to Scott explain why graphic design is not art. Eye waitress.
8:30pm Get call from highschool boyfriend who is in town for the weekend
9:00pm Visit with highschool boyfriend and two other highschool classmates at someone’s snazzy First Hill apartment. Learn that a rich classmate is supporting himself and his wife by embezzeling funds from his mother. Try to make old classmates laugh by explaining the Honda’s GOD MASTERBATES bumper sticker. Fail.
10:00pm Drive to International District for cocktail party at eli’s loft. Find the party quite small and make a few calls.
11:00pm N, O, TC, Scott, Nancy (Scott’s new special friend), Mike, Brandon, Seth, and a couple random friends-of-friends arrive.
12:00am Delude self into thinking you’re still driving home to Olympia while drinking red bulls & rain (vodka), and smoking too much.
12:15am Use the word “hungry” instead of “funny.” Acknowlege that you probably shouldn’t drive home.
12:30am Hear TC say “goodest pizza” when trying to describe the “best cake.” Update blog accordingly.
1:00am Call M, who has borrowed the Hitachi, and make arrangements to pick it up in an hour or so, “on the way home.” Sing showtunes with Brandon. Complain about breasts falling out of dress. Irritate everyone with renditions of Bel Biv Devoe songs (”Never trust a big butt and a smile…”).
2:00am Drive to Lower Queen Anne to “stop by” M’s.
4:30am Realize that “stopping by” has turned into an epic gabfest with Paul, Molly’s special friend
5:00am Fall asleep on M’s couch
11:00am Retrieve Hitachi, drive home listening to The Beat, mulling over a night of meeting lovers’ lovers.
