Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Day Four
So here I am, on day four of my cleanse. So far it’s going very well, and I’m re-adapting quickly to the “fruits & veggies only” eating. I’m even staying in good spirits.
However, after watching Andreas nosh on chips and salsa, I went and made my lunch (Crunchy Celery Salad and a Bananaberry Medly) and, as Andreas showed me some of his newest designs in photoshop, started munching. So did he, absent-mindedly reaching over to my bowl and pinching a piece celery here, a raisin there. I reminded him not to. A few minutes later, he reached and grabbed a dried cherry off the top of my Bananaberry salad, and I grabbed his wrist (much harder than I meant to), slapped the cherry out of his fingers, and growled, “PLEASE DON’T. You can eat anything you want in this house. Leave mine alone.”
Ok, so maybe I just THINK I’m in good spirits. The hunger is just under the surface, isn’t it?
