Josie: Backdoor Lover?
I’ve been intregued with the whole Josie and the Pussycats creepy product placement thing, so I’ve been poking around. Ok, the creepy subliminal advertising ethics have got to go, but keep the songwriting team: this song is fracking hilarious. It’s by a faux N’Sync-style boy-group who appear in the movie. The song is called “Backdoor Lover,” and features the lyrics “Just cuz I like it that way/doesn’t mean I’m–hey!”
