My father was not born in Humboldt, Tennessee. He was born in Cullman, Alabama. As he said, “I can see we NEED to take this trip! Becky [my grandmother] and my father were both born in Humboldt, but he was working in Cullman when I was born (they were living in an apartment in a friend’s funeral parlor).”
