Scary
So, I’m sitting up here on my computer, trying to get a ticket to NYC from Priceline. My ticket was looking like it was going to be obscenely expensive, since I’m going to be there for a month and a half. Airlines screw you on those long trips. But I started bidding at the bottom: $200. Rejected. Then I tried $250. Rejected, but up popped a special offer letting them know that they could guarentee me a ticket for $308 + taxes and fees, for a total of $350. Not bad, compared to the $1100 to $2200 I’d been quoted elsewhere.

It was a big moment. Just me and my computer, making this trip to New York a total reality. Buying the ticket. Shit. This is scary.

I clicked the purchase button, and before I knew it my itinerary was in my inbox, and I was ready to roll. I went downstairs to grab and apple to calm my nerves and saw Dre sitting on the couch, reading URB.

“I just bought my ticket to NYC!” I reported.
“Is that what made you say ‘SCARY!’ up there?” Wait, what? “Yeah, I heard you upstairs yelling ‘Ooh! Shit! That’s scary!!’ and I wondered what was going on.”

I just about laughed myself silly. Nothing worse than getting caught talking to yourself, especially it’s loudly and you’re not even aware your mouth is open.

Anyway, here it is. Proof that this is really happening.
