Of Reviews
I’ve decided to start an “reviews of this blog” page. Therefore I need you, dear readers, to write said reviews. Gushing, scathing, scabby, hateful, witty, whatever. Just hit respond and give me something to do while I wait for employment to come calling.
Clarification
I realized now that I was unclear about what sort of reviews I was looking for. I was thinking reviews of this here webpage, although I think that Matt’s submissions argue the case for reviews of whatever you’d like to write about:
Â
ITE 12SD Telephone: For a time, ITE went from strength to strength with its 12S series of office phones, but the recently-released 12SD is, frankly, a disappointment. The speed-dial functionality lacks the vibrancy and urgency of previous models, and the handset color scheme, although adventurous, doesn’t pay off in the end.
Â
Rapid “Classic 81†Stapler: Rapid is really giving Swingline a run for its money. The Chinese-made “Classic 81†has the sleek lines and graceful action of Swinglines past, but the smooth operation evokes a freshness and vitality that puts Rapid well ahead of the pack.
Â
“The Grid: Blueprint for a New Computing Infrastructureâ€. Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, 1999: It’s OK.
Â
Read Right Kleen & Dry CRT Screen Cleaning Pad: Although the “Twin-Pack†screen cleaning system, with its separate wet and dry towels, struck this reviewer as odd at first, the fresh and unconventional approach to screen gunk removal sets the Read Right folks apart in the computer hygiene scene. Big up Read Right!
