Not much to report today. I’m not doing much these days besides gawking at my reflection, desperately looking for a job, and walking around Seattle. I’m getting my hair cut by a professional today (I did the deed with a pair of wee fingernail scissors, and the situation definitely needs to be cleaned up).
Last night I had dinner with my father, I had to do a little product plug for my new best friend, Swiffer.
“Dad, you have hardwood floors, right?” I aksed.
He thought for a second. “No,” he said. “Actually, they’re pine.” [padumpum.]
Well, regardless if the floors are hardwood or softwood, Swiffer is the answer. This little fucker cleans floors like you would not believe. I love it. It makes my day. I don’t know how it works, but it’s cool. See? I convinced my father to go buy one right after dinner.
“Why, it sounds like a time-saver!” he said.
This is what happens when a good copywriters go bad. They start plugging products for free.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
