Today Geoff Kloske sent me some Simon & Schuster books, including The Cyclist, Them: Adventures with Extremists, Buck Up, Suck Up…and Come Back When You Foul Up, Breathe: A Guy’s Guide to Pregnancy, and The Cat That Changed My Life: 50 Cats That Changed My Life. Strangely missing was the book I really wanted to read, Philip J. Kaplan’s F’d Companies: Spectacular Dot Com Flameouts. The dust cover was in the package, but the book was not. Strange. Kloske: ever the tease. Regardless, I’m pleased.
