Looks like Philippe, one of my favorite French readers, ordered it for me (thanks, Philippe — be watching your mailbox!), and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The CD jacket has these cool looking squash speakers on it, and after carefully reading the liner notes, I found the source of the speakers.
Why, it’s gourdspeaker.com! Lookit how cute those little gourd speakers are! That’s about the cutest speaker I’ve ever seen. At $1200 a pair, cuteness has a price, but damn. How clever.

I MAKE GOURD SPEAKERS TOO AND MINE ARE BEAUTIFUL.
I USE ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME COMPONENTS FOUND ON THE 1200$ SPEAKERS AND I CHARGE 250$ !! DOROTHY HEALY
