Yesterday I went and picked up a stack of books at the library, including Dan Savage’s The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend And I Decided To Get Pregant. Thus far, I am totally adoring it. Sure, Dan goes off on some side rants that mildly detract from his story, but it’s still a great book. I’ve liked Dan Savage ever since my dad first started bringing home The Strange with Savage Love inside my senior year of high school. But this book makes Dan more accessible…he’s not dishing out advice. He’s just living his life.
