Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
First, read this. Then this. Then let’s think about how celebrities (paid by pharmaceutical companies), are chatting up Senators right now and potentially influencing our nation’s laws. God bless democracy.

that’s awful. “generic drugs will never cure him”??? what kind of disgusting ad campaign is that. pharmie companies are , IMO, some of the absolute worst businesses in the world. they a. influence doctors prescription decisions by giving them huge benefits, b. make people think they need drugs taht they don’t, both of which can literally irreparably ruin a person’s mind and body, and c. control the whole thing as a monopoly, all the while claiming to be philanthropists. i won’t even take an ADVIL unless my head is hurting so bad i can’t see, yet some people pop pills like candy. ugh!!!! montel williams is a hack.

I agree, something is rotten in the state of denMerck… On the other hand, I try not to form too many opinions based on Fox news (or Salon, for that matter).

I read somewhere that pharmaceutical companies spend more on advertising than new research. Take that, Montel, FDA! Have to go find that link again … (sorry)
