Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
This search appearing in my referral logs is a sad commentary on the state of sex education in America: Yahoo! Search Results for can you get pregnant by dry humping with jeans on.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Ah yes. “Dry humping.” It refers to mimicking the act of intercourse while fully clothed.

Well, what do you think the answer is? I think the technically accurate truth is, yes, it is possible, but you’d have to be the unluckiest girl in America. But it begs a more important question: Don’t you have better things to do than simulate sex through denim? Why not try oral sex, for example, as a fun and frisky form of birth control…

I agree that you cannot get pregnant “by dry humping with jeans on,” UNLESS the boy in question ejaculates enough semen to soak through a) thick denim and b) underwear.
I estimate this would probably be about 1 liter of ejaculate (given its viscocity, it would take a lot to soak though, instead of just coagulating on the surface of the jeans).
If the boy in question is able to ejaculate one liter of semen, he should immediately move to the San Fernando Valley and begin a career in pornography.

maybe if both parties are wearing those really thin and flimsy old people jeans with pleats and elastic waistbands…
you know, just to avoid liability, they should probably print a disclaimer on a tag inside every pair of jeans that it’s not an effective means of contraception.
