Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
For the first time in a year or so, my editor over at Amazon.com (Segway retailer!) has given me a sizable chunk of reviews to do this month. This is good! Keeps the wolves at bay, rent paid, and rats fed for another month. There are also two unconfirmed freelance projects on the horizon.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Man. So, you’re an Amazon woman whose dress style isn’t entirely approved by the homeless crowd. You have to get a writing gig that gives you a one-line bio at the end:
Lane Jones wears outfits that make homeless people gag.

I’m fascinated by the segway!
On one hand I find it so incredibly smart and (probably) fun… On the other, I’m horrified. No need to walk anymore, the ultimate power assisted way of life ! (I love the guys ’segwaying’ through their office in the clip !)
Plus, it’s really expensive for such limited range and speed. My motorcycle is lot cheaper.
I’m really curious to see what will happen now it’s on the market.
