wierd. i think we may operate on a similar wave-length. i’ve been thinking about this guy for a few weeks now.
paul and i recently watched donnie darko (if you haven’t seen it, do so) and my mom just rented lovely and amazing (oddly uncomfortable comedy about a neurotic family), also with mr. gyllenhaal.
i like him. i hope more interesting scripts fall into his lap.

Oh yes. I’ve seen Donnie Darko. Did you watch it on VHS or DVD? I highly recommend watching it on DVD — there are a lot of extras that are hugely important to the story on the DVD. Deleted scenes, director commentary, The Philosophy of Time Travel text, etc.
