Andreas and I have new neighbors: a rock dove and her mate have nested in our potted bouganvilla out on the balcony. It’s not much of a nest: a few pieces of grass and branches arranged in a circle…and one perfect egg in the center. Looks like in 19 days, we’ll have some enfants de pigeon hanging around outside! Neat!

For those keeping track, this means that we now have two rats in the bathroom, and two (and a half!) pigeons on the baloncy. I love my maligned creatures! Bring on the bats!
