Thus far I have learned:
1. How to swallow seven herbal suppliments simultaneously, five times a day.
2. The Just Tomatoes, etc products are really tasty. (Thanks to Mackenzi for the heads up)
3. That shakes made from almond milk are outstanding.
4. Andreas should not play a hard, three hour game of soccer when he’s not consuming the soy-rich vegan diet to which he’s accustomed. He gets lightheaded and spacey.
JEFB:
Mega Green.
Lunch:
Today was the Pico Farmer’s Market! This means we ate salads the size of small football fields for lunch. And also some more of that heavenly hummous while sitting in a park. Into the hummous, we dipped fresh baby carrots with their tops still attached…along with a fair amount of dirt. Hardcore health, muthafucka!
Dinner:
We had a non-cleanse dinner guest this evening, and went all out for her. Veggies and hummous appetizer, carrot ginger soup with a basil garnish, salads with cilantro dressing, green curry with sprouted peas and eggplant, portobello mushrooms braised in apple cider vinegar, and then? For dessert? Strawberry, almond milk, date shakes. What a meal!!

Mmmm…I love those Just Tomato products, especially the all fruit mix. I can munch half a tub easily if I don’t watch it. I just wish they weren’t so expensive (~$5 a tub).
