Getting sick of these posts yet? I am. Luckily for both of us, this is Dre and my last week of the cleanse! One week from today, we’ll be sinking our teeth into … well, still a salad, but a salad with normal person dressing and perhaps some protein mixed in, like a hardboiled egg. Speaking of eggs! Andreas, Mr. 10 Years of Veganism, has confessed to having strange scrambled eggs-with-cheese fantasies while on this cleanse. I think it’s probably just his body craving for protein, but interesting that it’s eggs. He says that after the cleanse, he’s going to try some of his usual soy protein sources first, but if that fails he will have a plate of eggs just to rid himself of the craving.

Starting Tuesday, we’ll be cutting down to one meal a day, replacing lunch with a glop shake. Then we’ll start fasting on Friday, and if our last cleanse was any indication, we’ll spend most of our fast watching movies, drinking juice, being very unmeditative and just trying to get through it all.

Large salad with hummous. Pear. Dates. Raw bar. Brussle sprouts.
