There is an article in the March issue of Martha Stewart Living on raw diets. I thought you might be interested.

Just so’s you know, if I click on the “more” button, I get sent back to your thoughts on “Old School”. Probably just a getting-the-new-domain-running bug, but I thought I’d give you a heads up.

Strange…it takes me to the right spot. Hmm. I wonder what’s going wrong. I’ll do a republish, and then try again? Regardless, thanks for the heads-up.

was the corn on the cob raw? Just curious, I’m a big corn on the cob fan, and I just dip it in the boiling water and it’s fine when I’m done fishing it out (maybe two minutes!) So I’m wondering if it would be good raw, too.

We cook it the same as you: about two minutes.

the last week of your diet is a fast?? total water fast, tea or juice, or what exactly?

I’m down to one meal a day for three days (Tue, Wed, Thur). Then Fri and Sat and Sun it’s down to no meals, but still glop shakes, pills, and juice. Sunday night we’ll break the fast w/ dinner. (And clarification: it’s not a diet, it’s a cleanse. The restricted diet is a component, but the cleanse is a full program that includes all sorts of other crap.)

To clarify my comment about the article in Martha Stewart Living, the article isn’t about “diet,” as in weight loss, but “diet,” as in meal-choice.

Ah, and Kate, to clarify my comment, I was speaking to Amy (Leblanc) when I made the diet/cleanse correction.

i was down in your hood this past weekend.
spent some time around abbot-kinney.

thought i might see you out and about.
then i remembered the “cleanse”.
sunday brunch is probably the worst temptation of all..

your comment system adds spurious ’s every time it errors for missing information.
i don’t normally space out my text so gratuitously.

well, not to get technical, but anything you eat/drink/consume is technically a “diet”. we all have a diet, whether we like it or not. that’s all i meant.
good luck, and don’t pass out!
