You've inspired me -- I'm this close to following suit. But I'm totally unprepared, so I think I'll check out the cookbook first, then look into a juicer... it seems like an undertaking where preparation is key! Maybe next month I'll begin, as I've got a trip planned at the end of this one.

Oh, and I would say the short term energetic and cosmetic benefits of the cleanse last for a month or so. The longer term benefits of weight loss last longer.

Ooh, I'll have to look at that PDF link when I get home. Effects that I've personally experienced are: weight loss (both from mucoid plaque ellimination and from being on such a strict diet), clear skin, increased energy (naturally waking up earlier in the morning), and a sense of accomplishment.

The idea of this mucous stuff is stuck in my head now, so I'm all curious. The cleansing website's pdf thing seems to be down (or not working for me), so I don't know if they talk about this or not, but what are the actual physical effects, say, a week after you finish cleansing? Less heartburn? Flatter stomach (getting rid of all that stuff)? More energy?

And how long does that feeling last?

Like I said, I'm just curious. I'm a vegetarian, so the idea of living on fruit and veggies for a few weeks doesn't frighten me.
