I just bought tickets for Andreas’ and my “upcoming trip to France”:http://electrolicious.com/archives/2003_02.html#000450. $516 each via Expedia! Great deal for mid-May. We have a layover in Detroit, but the $250 saved by not flying direct can be spent on French pastries and clothing, and train tickets to “Bandol”:http://www.electrolicious.com/looky/Paris-May02/index.php?x=44. Wahoo!
In less happy news, the pigeons have abandoned their nest, leaving the now-discolored clearly lifeless egg behind. It should have hatched over a week ago, and Jacque and Jacqueline finally gave up on hoping their little pidgey baby would hatch. I’m not sure what went wrong. The question now is what do I do with the dead egg? It makes me sad.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

You can bury the egg in a flower garden so it will decompose and make the flowers grow better. That would be Karmatic.

Sean, our layover is just about 60 minutes…not really long enough for much fo a visit.

Your plans involve paris and bandol, right, like the last time.
Now, I understand Tia is in paris and that you have friends in bandol (plus, it’s a great place to stay), but why don’t you expand your horizons ? You could arrange a trip with your pals and see more of france while being with them.
Well, I’m just asking…

Philippe, last May we took a weekend trip to Anjou! That was different! But no, your point is a good one, and perhaps we will adventure elsewhere this year.
