Nothing like being woken up to three helicopters hovering over your bedroom, all trying to get some footage of an apartment fire. It was very, very loud. And very, very Los Angeles.

Haha. When I lived in LA, I once heard a helicopter circling my neighborhood for several hours in the middle of the night. It was impossible for me to sleep. I don’t know if it was there for a fire or a fugitive darting through backyards or someone dangling a baby over a balcony. All I know is that I called the police that night telling them “One of your helicopters is outside my window. Can you tell it to go home?”

Hmm. Do you ever wonder if death thinks that the news media is like it`s verison of the paparazzi? It`s all getting ready to do something awful and then the media shows up and it`s like “Oh no. Not again. I hate them…why don`t they just leave me alone and let me do my job? Alright, EVERYBODY LIVES…no! Stop complaining! CNN has ruined the mood for me. You`re all going to see bright lights and wake up feeling like pounded goo. No everlasting happiness in a celestial domain for anybody. All of you, back to the dirt-ball!”
