I am not at all happy with what I heard on the news this morning. In fact, I would say that the news matched the foul “something curled up and died” smell in my car. Haven’t figured out what’s causing that smell, but I do know what’s responsible for the bad news. If only I could do some diplomatic vacuuming.
Adding to my bleak mood is this news of an Evergreen student run over and killed by a bulldozer in Isreal. (Be aware that the first link of the top post on MetaFilter includes graphic photos of Rachel Corrie mortally injured. You may not want to click it — I spent most of last night wishing I hadn’t.) My friend Kara knew Rachel, and wrote about her today. Read more about Rachel here and over here.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
