I have the exact same ability, and bullshitted (bullshat? :) my way through almost every English paper I ever wrote. I saw the other end of this once while watching Charlie Rose. If you don't know a subject he's interviewing all that well, he seems super-smart and well-informed. Then one day, he interviewed Tori Amos, a subject I know a ridiculous amount about, and I could see right through his "mad skilz". *shrug* My advice: Don't ever think you're fooling _everybody_. Yeah, but…it will only be fantastic to people who don’t know the subject matter any better than you do.
