   Jimbo, you missed nothing: there are no plans to move back to Seattle. We know that when we leave LA, we’ll be heading back up there, and we’ve now decided that when we head back up there, we’ll buy a house. That said, I currently have a job I’m genuinely excited about (how often does THAT happen?), good friends here, and sunny skies. Despite my love of Seattle, I have good reasons to be here in Southern California. I’m not one to ignore good reasons. I’m here now.

   And yeah, bess, my talking to Twozdai about her housebuying process was a final factor in our decision to think about buying. Several other factors had already been making themselves known, and then there was her! I need to thank her. (Hint.)

   Yup, Amy. That’s still in the plan, although we learned that Dre can’t get citizenship as easily as we’d thought. Regardless, that was always five years out.

    Well, hey- a good hippie skirt is nothing more than a low-cut flowered apron when it comes down to it, and I know that *I* certainly wouldn’t wear anything else with mine..

    Jake, Ariel is from Seattle in the first place (or at least lived here a long time and went to Evergreen and stuff).

    Woo Hoo! Having a house in Seattle is the best. I highly recommend it. They’ll tell you that you can’t find anything you can afford without moving to Renton or Northgate, but you shouldn’t beleive them.

    Funny joke, “Timothy.” My dad works for the city, and my mother subsists off of a donation-only ministry in the woods. I will definitely not be getting any help from them.

    If anyone has any rich parents to spare, however, you just let me know.
