Loving it! All is heavenly in the south of France. The trip from Paris à Marseille was seamlessly easy. Our first night here, Andreas was up until 4 am playing (and losing) drinking games with the French. My language skills are perhaps improved only because I have better learned which words are the same en englais as they are in French. For example, constipation (coh-stee-pah-syoh). Progress!
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Ah, yes, surely we’ve discussed that old Romance-language student’s trick: if you don’t know the common (short) word for something, pick a long one, and say it with an accent! Brush up on your prefixes and suffixes, and you’ll sound like an multi-lingual intellectual in no time!
You are such a cunning linguist.
