Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Wow, are things just weird right now…or is it just me?
Difficult things in the last four days:
1. My wisdom tooth getting all fucked up right before France
2. My grandmother having a stroke
3. My mother’s litigeous evil neighbor contacting the city of Bainbridge Island to try to get Sacred Groves shut down
4. Some other exciting family-related brew-ha-ha I will not delve into here
5. My rat (not Jaamini, who just recovered from a bad case of the weezies, but Tejasa, the other one) developing a tumor. As we speak, she’s at the vet having it removed
…I guess I’m having to work hard to earn this damn vacation.

le oof, my friend! slide on over to my blog for the nastiness i incurred yesterday. similarly, just a bunch of crappy stuff all at once, although mine wasn’t so bad compared to yours. i sincerely hope things get better for you and your family, including Tejasa. Luck!

it’s not just you. i just had the travel experience from hell sunday-monday. something IS out of whack in the universe, because the combination of circumstances i experienced was just absolutely mind boggling.

Adding to the excitement: Tejasa chewed her stitches off and has to go back to the vet on my lunch break today. Could someone please shoot me?

Yup- it’s in the stars.
Last week a guy showed up to pressure wash our house (needs new paint job - long story) and ended up squirting water in all our windows!
I vomitted at school monday, only minutes before students were expected. On my way home I began thinking and realized my period is a couple days late, so I picked up a pregnancy test. Now I’m getting kind of excited, this would be welcome news, and a make being sick not so bad. At home, just ten minutes later I realized I really just had a 24 hour stomach flu. Kind of a let down.
