		<description>i think for me it's not that i think it's "bad" to look like someone else - it's unavoidable.  it's those punk asses out there who think that they *are* truly being unique and original and shove it in your face as if to prove a point that they're cooler than you because oh look! they have dreadlocks and lots of piercings and you're just a commoner and so you suck! that bother me.  i think the fashion culture of the world is fascinating,  and i don't care one way or the other how other people dress.  be who you want to be.  but for it's those who purposely section themselves off (Ariel, you must see tons of this in LA) and judge others by their outward appearances that i was referring to.</description>

Ariel, I think the "unique individual" label as well as the "one of the crowd" labels we give ourselves serve the same purpose: Connecting With Others!  The Rebel acts just as predictably as the Yesman. The photos show (to me) the fact that these people did not make their own clothes. Now, if you really want to fit in, get a tattoo.</description>
