I can't understand why a person will take a year to write a novel when he can easily buy one for a few dollars.

Happy coincidence in my case. I developed a fondness for "wee" in high school when my best friend and I added it to our vast vocabulary of subtle ways to belittle things. It was usually paired with a hyper-ironic li'l.

Did we all start using the adjective "wee" AFTER getting to know Creeeeeeg, or is it a happy coincidence? I think it's so cute. :)

Probably means something different for each person. I guess I can answer for myself (since my unfinished back work has three wee stars as part of it) and say that mine is a commentary on my obsession with participatory entertainment, i.e., each one of us is a star.

Also: that is a total lie. I have no idea why I picked three stars, and I have no idea why anyone else does, either. But I do know that my stars are upside down.

All that said, you're opening a can of worms (with me, at least) by asking what a tattoo signifies. Like all art, tattoos are open to interpretation. What does a tweety bird on some girl's ass signify? Maybe that she likes tweety, but maybe just that she wanted to get marked up. What does a bit of tribal work on some frat boy's arm signify? Maybe that he's a maorian warrior, but maybe just that he thought it looked cool. What does a star signify? Depends on the person. It's simply and symmetrical, that's why I like 'em.

(Don't mean to get all ranty, but I have strong tattoo theories built up over 18 months of dating a tat artist.)
