I agree that the writing style leaves something to be desired, and sometimes the characters resolve their problems a bit too easily/quickly, but all the intertwined symbolism that the book talks about is fascinating! After I finished reading it I poured over all my art history books, looking for hidden meanings and symbols. I can't wait to hear what you think of the end.
