I just gave my notice at work: I will be moving back to Seattle next weekend (Andreas to follow a couple weeks later). I will be resuming my position at The Paper a week from Monday.

I’m lost. What caused this decision (I’d say “sudden decision,” but it’s clear it wasn’t all that “sudden,” since you’re keeping SECRETS!)? Did Andre find a job up there? Did the Governator tell you to move? WHAT! WE’RE DYING OF CURIOUSITY!

Jason, we’ve been dreaming of old-school converted co-op/condo flats like this one. We’re still probably about a year away from being able to do it, but we’ve got our eyes open!
And as for the anonymous curious commenter up there, basically, the decision to move was a combination of Dre getting laid off (we moved here so that he could do work, so if he wasn’t working, why were we here?), some disatisfaction with my current job in LA, and the fact that when we moved here, the plan was only to be here for 2 years, tops. It’s been 14 months, and I’m OVAH IT. I love my friends here, but the city just isn’t my flava.
