Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
I’m working a lot these days…10 hours on Friday, came in for 4 hours on Saturday, 12+ hours yesterday, who knows how many today. My body’s all crunchy from hunkering down for so long.
Lots of travel for Dre and I on the horizon…in SF this weekend, NYC in a couple weeks (Dre’s first visit!), Iowa for the traditional Very Lesbian Thanksgiving, and then Hawaii for Christmas. Farther away: Alaska next Spring when my oldest friend (we met at age 6 months) is having a baby.
It’s grey out and I miss Seattle as I watch a white plastic bag blow down the sidewalk.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Aaah… “A Very Lesbian Thanksgiving’… one of my all-time favorite holidy specials. I particularly enjoy the k.d. lang, Melissa Etheridge duet on “Come, O Ye Thankful People, Come”

Yay - I’ll start saving my frequent flyer miles to come down to Seattle when YOU have your baby!

When are you coming to NYC? I could maybe come in, if you aren’t already totally booked up…
