Dreams are strange.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

I love your spacey file clerk. my dreams are often way out of control, with pieces from the day before added to nightmares from age 7 of kidnappers in red cars.
altogether too often, however, they’re about computer problems. sometimes solving them, usually not.

that’s a pretty good description of what many neurologists think is going on in your brain. except that there is one part of your brain who is the file clerk, and another part that writes screenplays… and when you’re asleep, the screenplay part doesn’t have any sense data to work sith, so she just eavesdrops on the filing clerk thus you get these bizarre, incoherent narratives constructed from fragments of your day.
