Our new apartment comes with walls already painted great colors. A burnt orange in the kitchen, a warm pale orange in the living room, and a golden yellow in the bedroom. Oh, but then there’s the bathroom: it’s bright aqua. I’m thinking that an orange goldfish theme in the bathroom will balance out the aquarium feeling the color induces.
As for the living room, I think I’m going to be a grown up, get rid of my third-hand furniture and invest in a red couch. It’ll match the red strawberry toy chest that Amanda gifted me.

The idea of fish in an aqua bathroom! That way you’re creatively working with what you’ve got - plus, bathroom fish designs are really easy to find and not too expensive from places like target and fred meyers…

i really love dark and bright walls. white and neutral colors suck. i’m jealous. we thought about painting our walls, but we’re moving soon, so why bother.
