Today I went shopping for clothes and art.
Observation 1: Boy, is it nice to be able to buy clothes at boutiques again! In LA, boutique shopping was not an option for me, because someone in LA decided that there should be no “booty” in the boutiques, and sizes seem to top out at about an 8. In Seattle, I guess it’s ok for people to have butts, because boutique clothes fit me. Hurrah!
Observation 2: Art sure is expensive. Well, except for that really awesome $50 painting of Aretha Franklin that I saw at Hello Gorgeous. I’m totally going back and getting that next week. It is going to be the first piece of art up at the new Chateau de Fetzllings.
Observation 3: Shit, it got dark at 5pm today. That’s going to make the walk home from work a little different, isn’t it?
Observation 4: I miss my boyfriend. Drat, took less than a week.

Ariel,
Just a note on your previous post.
I don’t know you personally and will probably never meet you. I do enjoy reading your blog, above all it’s honest and sometimes interesting/funny/revealing. I’m quite a bit older than you and you really remind me of alot of people I knew in the 60’s, when I was the age you are now.
I do post occasional notes and will drop you a line from time to time.
Hope you keep being thrilled at being home in Seattle
Tim
