Interesting article by Sarah Hepola. For some reason, it made me muse upon a thought I’ve found myself frequently chewing over these days: I’m trying to be less judgemental about the paths of personal development people take. Just because it may not be a path I would chose, Mary Kay clearly (strangely?) empowers women — and that is of value.

i’m cynical about whether makeup is really empowering. sure, i wear it, but i hypocritically wish that i hadn’t swallowed the “beauty” myth whole.
