Nothing better than a freelance job that makes work feel like fun. The work I’m doing with FPC necessitated myself and Andreas and our friend The Rinz doing some “research” last night: we played games designed for pre-teen girls. Despite the season’s first round of spiked cider, we weren’t quite drunk enough for the true absurdity of the situation to sink in…but we still had more fun than the makers of the games probably intended for people of our demographic. Results of the research included me acting really, really surprised for 10 seconds, The Rinz sketching Andreas picking his nose, and Dre declining to answer the question, “What’s your fav horse movie of all time?”
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Off-topic, but I thought of you this morning… NPR’s Only A Game did a lighthearted segment on Betty Hoops’ “Hoop For Peace Month”. The commentator seemed unenlightened as to the modern hooping movement… sounds like fertile ground for a full-length segment if I ever heard one.
