girl, i think you should follow your heart. you ARE an incredibly inspiring writer, a rare mix of social commentary with a light side instead of a dark side. most blogs and articles, including my own, get bogged down in the despair that one can sink into when opening their mind to world events and social critique. instead, you have the gift of turning lemons in to lemonade and making us all smile and look forward to the future, even if you're posting about something as awful as our reigning heads of state.

I think you should definitely move forward with this idea, and, of course, keep sharing your inspirations with us all :)

smooch.

I look forward to collecting every one of your Hallmark Stallings Serenity Series. Who knows- perhaps one day you will be passed the torch to write those 'Maxine" cards with the snarky old lady on the cover.

Seriously, irony and humor are powerful tools for self-examination (enabling the occasional CheckYo'Sef moment), and I don't forsee you running out of either. Inspiration flows best from those with an eye on both the profound and the absurd (Confucius say).

"Fighting the Guru" is also my favorite new euphemism for masturbation. Oh wait- "Boxing Ghandi"... hehe... the possibilities are endless...
