I was born in Ames, and visited the Storm Lake/Alta area annually for many years. Iowa is indeed Iowa at all times, and there is no other place like it. They don’t go for a lot of the nonsense we’re fed in more urban areas. No nonsense. Gotta work hard cause it gets COLD up there

I have said it before. Iowa is like an old favorite sweatshirt, complete with holes. It doesn’t look great, it doesn’t say high fashion but nothing is more comfortable.
Should have let me know and we could have hooked up.
