Daily affirmations of a word mercenary

Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

It’s gotten a lot of comparisons to Everything But The Girl (ie, female vocalist with groovy backing electronic track). Lead singer’s voice is more like Sade, though. Check Amazon’s customer reviews for more comparisons.

It’s a side project by one of the Groove Armada folk, so if you like one, you’d probably like the other. I find myself bouncing to “Walking into the Sun” even when I’m not listening to it.

i must state publicly that i did not knowingly give this young lass thousands of dollars of music in case the music police are out there scanning for baddies
silly me, who knew she had such horrible taste in music?

I’d like to know if the Weekend Players are going to come out with a new album. I love their music so much that I had to buy their CD again because I wore it out.
