Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Last night at 2:30am, Andreas and I made it home to Seattle.
WHEW.
While we were gone, our bathroom was being gutted and redone. We returned home to find that despite three weeks to work on it, it’s still not done. Whee! I love coming home to construction disasters.
I am weary and hungry and disoriented.

PS: While disembarking our flight from Hawaii, Dre and I saw a 5 year old boy dancing around the galley and saying to a flight attendant, “Dude, will you sign my butt?” Funniest eavesdrop ever.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Welcome back! I wish I could say that I was home as well, but I’m still in Taiwan. Haven’t slept in my own bed since Dec 23rd, and won’t for another week!
But at least I’m earning miles (*sarcasm*)
