One of my favorite parts about the Warmies process is when I wrap the Warmies up in heart-covered tissue paper, tuck a poem inside, and write the address on the envelope. Writing addresses on envelopes gives me deep satisfaction, and reminds me of when I had so many pen-pals that I actually drew up my own version of a spreadsheet to help me keep track of them all.

I also like that my local mailing place is called, “That Store.” I go down to That Store and mail my Warmies off to their new owners. You know. That Store.
