Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Everyone remembers how much I love Rummage, Seattle’s fantastic crafts bazaar, right? (If not: reminder 1 and reminder 2.)
Rummage is happening again this weekend, and this time…I’ll be a vendor there!
Yes, it’ll be me and a table of my Warmies at Rummage. If you’re in the Seattle-area, you should swing by! I’m working on a new variation to the Warmies theme, involving ribbons.
PS: That’s Vera wearing her Warmies in the photo to the left. More “Warmies in action” photos over here!
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, is in bookstores now.

I am in love with Sarah’s warmies. Are you going to be doing this for a while? I don’t have cash right now, but I believe I’d be interested in some stripey warmies in the next few weeks… Richmond is cold as a bitch!
If possible, if I purchase warmes, I’d like black and white stripes, or something close to it… convict warmies. No, wait… prisoner of Azkaban warmies! Think that’d be possible?

Jodi, I’ll keep making Warmies as long as folks keep wanting them. So order when ever you want.

i keep meaning to mention that arm warmers are all the rage down here. maybe some of your smaller leg warmers can have thumbholes nicked into them and you can sell hats with matching arm warmers too!

Yay, everyone else’s warmies look fabulous, too. Just a minor correction: I’m from Minnesota, not Michigan (though before I moved out here, I probably couldn’t have told you the difference :).

Hi Ariel- I bought the red angora blend warmie set at Rummage and they’re great- I really like that material because it’s warm and soft but not itchy. If you see any other angoras in royal blue or grey please save it for more warmies for me! I’m always fah-reezing at work but today I’m a-ok thanks to you. People keep making fun of my hat but screw ‘em- I like it.

Yay, I’m so glad they’re working out for you — don’t let those hat nay-sayers get you down. People just get nervous when they know you look better than them.
