Oh and the very worst - Hersheys chocolate. Quite what is going on in the hershey factory I don't know, I probably don't want to know considering it tastes like rancid milk, sand and vomit. Truly foul!

I've always been blown away by the combination of sweet and savoury ingredients in the states... a mound of pancakes covered in (crispy, overcooked, fatty) bacon and sausages and then saturated in maple syrup.

It's just something that's not really done where I'm from, glaze a ham or include a fruity sauce with red meat sure but not pork and sugar syrup... for breakfast.

American cheese also disgusts me, I realise there is proper cheese to be had out there but the horrible plastic orange stuff you get everywhere... ugh.

I would have to go with two already mentioned - definitely scrapple, it looks horrid and smells worse, even cooking it in butter can't hide the taste or smell.
Spam was the other one, but I would add Pickled Pigs Feet to the list. I see them in the bars, and I'm guessing they are only there as a Drunkin' dare, how else could you eat it?
No matter what, our disgusting foods don't come close to that of China and Asian foods.

I think the most disgusting food in america is chitterlins. How could someone actually eat the intestines of a pig? And it smells like pig dung when you cook it!! And certainly there's no horror like a cold McDonalds cheeseburger...

Word, Dan.

The most disgusting "food" though is rye bread. Even Cheddar cheese can't make that shit edible.
