but it does make the trip seem shorter and feel a little like you’ve at least connected with someone during the dead time/space of drive time…

They even stopped us from doing that! From Dec 1st 2003 in the UK, if you use a mobile while driving you can get a ticket. Meanwhile, paedos, terrorists etc roam the streets undisturbed by the long arm of the law. Ho hum.

…Even if you’re using a phone headset? I understand needing to have both hands on the wheel.
