Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Current favorite Windows customization: an audio cue for caps lock! No more backspacing after I realize I’ve accidently hit the CAPS key instead of the shift or control button. ToggleKeys triggers a beep whenever I hit caps lock, num lock or scroll lock.
To turn ToggleKeys on, go to control panel > accessibility options > keyboard, then select ToggleKeys.

That’s very good, but for those who don’t want a beep, there’s also format, change case, toggle case. Easier than retyping, that’s for sure.

I LOVE CHANGE CASE! There’s actually a change case button you can stick on your toolbar: tools > customize > commands > format > Change Case. Just drag the Change Case button onto your toolbar and VOILA!
I love Word. I admit it. I am Microsoft’s flunky.
