I am deeply mortified that I learned about Seattle-based jazzy-electronica band Plan-B from Entertainment Weekly. Dude: didn’t I used to edit a music magazine or something? How is it that I’m THAT clueless? I will blame my ignorance on the fact that their popularity has been rising since late-2002, right when I moved to Los Angeles. But really, there is no excuse. This is so up my alley and I had to read about it in ENTERTAINMENT FREAKING WEEKLY.

…If anyone needed final proof that I am really, totally, completely out of the good new music loop — even in my hometown! — this is it.
